This will certainly be a season to remember. A season in which we celebrate our history and the moments that have made this Club what it is today, on the eve of our 10th anniversary.

We will be reliving our greatest triumphs with you, our members, and providing everyone with new experiences you won-t soon forget.

It seems like only yesterday when we were mauling our rivals at the fortress that was Olympic Park. Since then, we-ve experienced all the highs and the lows that football delivers, but this season, to mark our tenth anniversary, we look forward to giving our loyal, loud and proud members a year we can celebrate the great strides we have made as a Club and as a code over the journey.

The wheel has turned full-circle and now we find our inspirational, inaugural captain Kevin Muscat as our leader and Head Coach.

“We all remember the great pride and excitement we shared when we won those two Premiership and Championship doubles, and I-d be lying if I said we aren-t disappointed to not have lifted either of those two trophies over the course of the past five seasons,” Muscat said.

“Having been here since day one, I know how loyal, loud and proud our members and fans are. We know there are high expectations for us in this, our tenth anniversary season, but we are determined to taste that ultimate glory and show the A-League we are once again a force to be reckoned with.

“We want you all to be part of the next chapter in this historic journey. I have no doubt that our coaching staff, players and administration will be giving it our all in Melbourne Victory’s tenth A-League season.”

CEO Ian Robson said everyone at the Club was excited by the prospect of celebrating such a significant milestone.

“As Australia-s biggest football club, we don-t do things by halves – everything we do as a Club is focused on making as much noise as possible, essentially being loud both on and off the pitch, in what is the most competitive sporting landscape in the world,” Mr Robson said.

“But we can-t just sit back and expect it to happen. Everyone, from the players to the fans, has to come on this journey with us if we are to return to the successes of seasons past.”

Throughout this season, we-ll be using the hashtag #10yearsproud across our social media platforms. Make sure you join the conversation with your fellow Melbourne Victory members and fans.
