A-League preview: Mariners v Victory

Traore

Adama Traore is set to play his 150th A-League game when Melbourne Victory visits the Central Coast Mariners on Saturday.

Summary

The left-back, 31, is one game away from reaching the milestone, having featured 80 times for Victory after 69 appearances for Gold Coast United.

Victory is aiming to end a four-match losing streak when it visits Central Coast Stadium.

It suffered a 4-1 loss to the Wellington Phoenix in Wollongong on Wednesday, with Elvis Kamsoba scoring a late goal.

The attacker netted his first goal of the campaign after getting on the end of a Jake Brimmer pass.

Ryan Shotton and fellow centre-back Dylan Ryan are set to return from injury after being named in the squad.

After going unbeaten in 18 meetings with the Mariners between 2013 and 2019, Victory has lost its past two clashes against Central Coast 3-2.
