Melbourne Victory Football Club is proud to announce that the 2011 Adrian Leijer Clinic, held at Darebin International Sports Centre, was a huge success. Over 280 Melbourne Victory season ticket holders, Generation V and Victory Army junior members participated at Sunday-s clinic.

Adrian Leijer, members of the Melbourne Victory playing squad and coaches from the Sports Education and Development Centre (SEDA) put the kids through their paces with five challenging skill sessions. The kids worked on their ball control, passing, shooting and even learnt a trick or two along the way.

The future Victory stars then got the chance to show off their skills during an inter-group match at the end of the clinic, impressing the Victory players who watched on from the side lines.

Adrian Leijer and the Melbourne Victory squad members were amazed with the commitment and talent shown by the youngsters, thoroughly enjoying the day.

An outstanding day was capped off with an autograph signing session from the players, followed by a complimentary show bag, which included a Victory jersey and a Victory boot bag.

Melbourne Victory Football Club wishes to thank all the parents for their support, whose encouragement and commitment made for a very enjoyable day.

The club is looking forward to next year-s Adrian Leijer Clinic, following on from the success of Sunday-s clinic.

The event was proudly sponsored by the TAC.
