Defender Nick Ansell is set to play his first match since Round 23’s clash with Perth Glory, while Jesse Makarounas and Connor Pain have been promoted to an extended squad following their performances in Match Day 4 of the AFC Champions League.
A win in this weekend’s clash could see Victory finish as high as second, earning Muscat’s men a very valuable week off from A-League action, while a loss would see Victory playing its first final away from home next weekend.
