AAMI Park was quite simply built for Victory. The purpose-built facility will offer Melbourne Victory fans the ultimate football experience and the club is now ready to offer the stadium up to its members.

Today was the official launch of the 2010/11 membership campaign to the general public, with its new home, AAMI Park, being the centre-piece of the marketing collateral. Features of this year-s member offering include access to 15 home games (10 games at AAMI Park and 5 blockbusters at Etihad Stadium), purchasing flexibility in categories at each venue, massive discounts against the cost of buying daily tickets and scaled benefits for consecutive years of membership through the Reward and Recognition program.

But Melbourne Victory-s new home at AAMI Park remains the focal point of the campaign, with members to be closer than ever been before, which will create an unparalleled atmosphere.

The club has received an amazing response to pre-registration for seats at the new stadium, reinforcing the urgency to commit to a 2010/11 membership; particularly given there will be a cap on membership at this stadium of 22,000.
General Manager, Consumer Revenues, Marketing and Communications Trent Jacobs said “the pre-registration for a seat guarantee saw 16,500 existing members commit to a seat at the new stadium, which gives everyone an indication as to how in demand these seats are.”

“We expect that all of our members with seat guarantees will renew their memberships, leaving only 5,500 available membership seats.

“As members and fans are aware, this stadium is going to replicate what European fans have become accustomed to and we cannot wait for this fortress environment to be created for everyone to experience, said Jacobs.

In conjunction with AAMI Park, the Etihad Stadium games are set to be the features of the season.

“We are excited to be playing our feature games at Etihad Stadium ensuring we don-t have capacity based issues. Games against Sydney, Heart, Adelaide and Gold Coast are not be missed and we as a club will be working hard to set up the stadium in a rectangular configuration for as many games of these games as possible.

Jacobs went on to say “We believe there is so much to be excited about for our members and fans for season 2010/11 and encourage everyone to go to the website, review the membership options and feel free to call our membership staff who will assist with any enquiries.”

15 game Adult memberships start from $225, juniors from $50 and families from $530 providing fantastic value for everyone.
