Argentinean giants Boca Juniors today announced the squad it will bring to Australia for the one-off clash with Melbourne Victory at Etihad Stadium on Friday July 16.

Making up the 22-man roster are Argentine internationals Juan Manuel Insaurralde, Sebastian Battaglia and Jesus Mendez, while young gun Ezequiel Munoz will also make the trip. Star players Juan Roman Riquelme and Martin Palermo are also in contention.

Insaurralde was in Diego Maradona-s provisional squad of 30 for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, but luckily for Australian fans was cut at the final stage – thus allowing him to make the trip to Melbourne.

Battaglia has been capped 10 times for his country, and Mendez has worn the famous Blue and White stripes on two occasions.

But while the squad is littered with experience, it-s 19 year-old Munoz who could very well steal the show. He-s represented Argentina at Under-17 and Under-20 level and has been described as ‘the new Roberto Ayala- – one of South America-s all-time greats. Munoz has already rejected approaches from Italian giants Fiorentina and AC Milan, while Real Madrid has also shown an interest.
