MasterChef Australia Judge George Calombaris and his Made Establishment Group competed in the annual Starlight Children-s Foundation Chef-s Soccer Cup in Melbourne over the weekend.

Calombaris was joined by 15 of his Melbourne restaurant contemporaries as he and his team battled to defend the title they have held for the past three years.

Melbourne Victory stars, Matthew Foschini, Marco Rojas and Danny Allsopp were on hand to host a goal-shooting competition for the kids, as well as showing the crowd how it-s done! The players also delighted the fans by stepping into the photo booth, posing for pictures and signing autographs.

All proceeds generated at the event were donated to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which helps brighten the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families.

“It was a great day. The kids enjoyed it, we enjoyed it and more importantly we were able to help raise money for the Starlight Children-s Foundation” Foschini said.

Unfortunately for Calombaris, it was the team from Vue de Monde that took the honours on the day.
