Club Victory program kicks off for 2011

With the new season almost upon us, Melbourne Victory Football Club is preparing to hit the streets in a big way with players making special appearances at junior clubs across the state.

With the new season almost upon us, Melbourne Victory Football Club is preparing to hit the streets in a big way with players making special appearances at junior clubs across the state.

Launched in 2010, ‘Club Victory- engaged twenty junior clubs around metropolitan Melbourne in order to develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with our young footballers and their respective clubs.

Reaching out to over 8,000 junior footballers in its first year alone, the ‘Club Victory- program focuses on the development and growth of grassroots football.

The integration of junior players from all backgrounds and abilities helps to galvanise participants as part of the Melbourne Victory family, with a real focus on participation and enjoyment – no matter how little experience some of the children may have.

To coincide with the launch of the new junior football season – along with Club Victory for 2011 – Melbourne Victory players will be visiting a few lucky clubs next week, offering training tips and providing encouragement to the kids as they prepare for the exciting season ahead.

Congratulations to the following clubs who will be welcoming Melbourne Victory players to a training session this week:
