July and August were two exciting months for Melbourne Victory in the community, with players appearing at various schools, junior clubs and community events throughout Victoria.

July and August were two exciting months for Melbourne Victory in the community, with players appearing at various schools, junior clubs and community events throughout Victoria.

The exclusive Melbourne Victory members Meet and Greet was held at Etihad Stadium and included an inspiring speech from Coach Ernie Merrick and visits from Captain Kevin Muscat, Grant Brebner, Billy Celeski, Ney Fabiano, Carlos Hernandez, Mitchell Langerak, Glen Moss and Mathew Theodore.

The Melbourne Victory Fan Fest kicked off the season at Luna Park, with all players in attendance signing autographs and meeting dedicated members and supporters.

The Melbourne Victory Metro Roadshows featured player visits to Altona City JFC, Bayside JFC, Boroondara Eagles KFC, Brimbank Stallions JSC, Bundoora United JSC, Caulfield United, Chelsea Football Club, Diamond Valley United, Fawkner Blues JFC, Green Gully JFC, North City Lions and Waverley Victory during August.
Melbourne Victory Schools 5-a-side Gala Days included visits from Danny Allsopp, Evan Berger and Glen Moss and Melbourne Victory Women players Bronwyn Nutley, Marlies Oostdam, Rita Mankowska and Gulcan Koca.

Matthew Foschini, Steven Pace, Mathew Theodore and Daniel Vasilevski visited Tasmania for a series of clinics and visits ahead of Melbourne Victory’s Grand Final rematch against Adelaide United at Launceston’s Aurora Stadium.

Glen Moss and Daniel Vasilevski visited participants at the VICSRAPID round robin tournament, which showcased participants of the Kids On-side program for young footballers with an intellectual disability.
