Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that Elvis Kamsoba has re-signed with the club ahead of the 2020/21 A-League season.

Kamsoba joins teammates Matt Acton, Adama Traore and Storm Roux to recommit to the club in recent days.

The 24-year-old said he was proud to continue his career at Victory.

“It is an amazing feeling to re-sign with Melbourne Victory. It is a special club and they’ve looked after me since I’ve arrived,” Kamsoba said.

“The members and fans are incredible. Last season didn’t go as planned but they are still supporting us, still backing us and that is very special.

“My family, the club and the members and fans really push me and motivate me to work hard, to perform and to help win games for Victory.”

Head Coach, Grant Brebner, said he is looking forward to seeing the Burundi international continue to develop and work hard over the coming pre-season.

“It’s really pleasing to see our squad take shape and the players commit to what we have started building as a team,” Brebner said.

“Elvis certainly is an exciting prospect and he brings pace and energy in our final third. He is committed to putting in the work and effort in order to become a consistent performer for our club.

“Like his teammates, Elvis has a wonderful opportunity over the coming pre-season to demonstrate he deserves a spot in our starting eleven.”

Kamsoba has made 41 appearances for Victory since joining the club midway through the 2018/19 season.
