Juventus has named a 25-man travelling squad for the 2016 International Champions Cup Australia, starting on Saturday against Melbourne Victory.

The Italian Serie A champions will send a mix of its first team and talented youth team players to Melbourne for matches against Victory and England’s Tottenham Hotspur.

The squad includes a couple of high-profile new signings; Morocco international Medhi Benatia, who arrived recently on loan from Bayern Munich, and Bosnia international and former Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

A number of the Bianconeri’s first-team regulars have been rested from the tour after their commitments at the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament.

But Juventus will not be lacking firepower, with rising star forward Paolo Dybala confirmed in the squad.

The 22-year-old from Argentina is a goal-scoring machine, having netted 19 goals in the 2015/16 season – the second highest in Serie A.

Dybala scored a hat-trick for Juventus in its first pre-season friendly at the weekend – a 6-1 win over San Mauro – with Pjanic and Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah also finding the back of the net.

A number of Juve’s first-team regulars from the 2015/16 Serie A campaign are in the squad, including Alex Sandro (22 appearances last season), Daniele Rugani (17), Hernanes (14), Roberto Pereyra (13) and Mario Lemina (10).

Juventus, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid are heading to Melbourne for the 2016 International Champions Cup Australia, presented by Audi.

Victory will open the tournament against Juventus at the MCG on Saturday, July 23. Tickets are available here.

Victory will then face Atletico in a tour match at Geelong’s Simonds Stadium on Sunday, July 31. Tickets are available here.
