Young defenders Nick Ansell and Jason Geria have been named in Melbourne Victory’s extended squad, as the young guns return from injury.
Ansell, who suffered a foot injury in pre-season, has now played in two Foxtel National Youth League matches since re-joining training about three weeks ago, while Geria, who also suffered a foot injury, re-joins the squad for the first time since Round 2’s clash with Adelaide.
Victory coach Kevin Muscat said he was looking forward to Friday night’s clash, with the club set to celebrate it’s 10th anniversary.
Past players will be part of the match build up, as well as plenty of other celebrations planned for the clash at AAMI Park.
