Proudly supported by TAC, the Kevin Muscat Clinic is always one of the most anticipated events in the Melbourne Victory calendar, and with registrations of over 400 for the two clinics, the 2010 edition was no exception.

This year-s festivities kicked-off with a host of activities provided by TAC and their Crash Test Dummies. Highlights included the Kevin Muscat tattoo parlour, TAC-s spinning prize wheel and a shooting target to help the juniors to warm-up.

Once the clinic kicked-off, Melbourne Victory players from both the A-League and W-League teams were shown no mercy by the junior members as they tackled, bumped and attempted to out-run and out-shoot their more experienced idols. The fantastic weather helped make the day even more enjoyable for those children who attended.

Melbourne Victory would especially like to thank all the parents and guardians that waited patiently on the sidelines while the clinic was underway.

Testimonials

I am writing to sincerely thank Melbourne Victory for putting on such a fantastic event with the Kevin Muscat Clinic last Saturday. My son Lucas (a fanatical 4 year old member who has missed only one home game over the past two seasons) was thrilled to bits being able to run about with the other kids and meet the players. He’d been talking about it for weeks and is still going on about it now.

The event was very well organised, staffed by an enthusiastic and helpful crew, and of course seeing the players get involved with real intent and enthusiasm was good. As a parent it was great to stand outside and watch my son get involved without having to worry at all, the team had control the whole time and it all ran like clockwork.

It was brilliant to see the players line up for a long session of autographs afterwards and interact with the kids, this is exactly what the club needs to be doing to promote and maintain membership and support and it was spot on. Even as we were driving out my son spotted Archie walking back to his car and sung him the ‘Archie Thompson’ song out the window… Archie obliged by stopping by for a photo with him and my son was wrapped to meet his favourite player. Great to see the players giving their time.

Congratulations to all involved, and a big thanks to the team.
C’MON VICTORY!

My son Jordon attended the Kevin Muscat soccer clinic on Saturday morning and I would just like to pass on my many thanks for a wonderful day.

He had a ball and has not stopped talking about it all weekend. After being involved in many AFL clinics over the years I just wanted to inform you that it was without doubt the most organized clinic for kids I have ever seen. Credit must go to all those involved just a pity about the result the night before!

One again thanks for a great day and go victory!!
