Melbourne Victory winger Marco Rojas has been named in New Zealand’s squad for two international friendlies in the United States early next month.

The All Whites will play Mexico in Nashville on October 8 and the United States in Washington DC on October 11.

The international call-up means Rojas will be unavailable for Victory’s opening match in the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season against Brisbane Roar on October 7.

Former Victory forward Kosta Barbarouses, who will line up for Wellington Phoenix this season, was also named in the 23-man squad.

Rojas has earned 26 caps for New Zealand, with his most recent appearance coming in the OFC Nations Cup final against Papua New Guinea in June.
