Transport

Due to numerous events in the precinct, parking is going to be EXTREMELY LIMITED! We strongly recommend you plan ahead, arrive early and use public transport.

Yarra Park at the MCG will be open with limited capacity. Gate 3 will open at 10.00am and Gate 5 at 12.00pm. Once full both carparks will close and not take any more cars in. Patrons are advised to arrive early given several events are on the precinct on Sunday.

Please note that considerable lane closures will be in place on Olympic Boulevard for up to five days in February, with vehicle access to venues and carpark available only via Batman Avenue & Alexandra Avenue.

Tram 70 (Wattle Park) will also be affected by this road closure between AAMI Park (Stop 7D) and Richmond Station (Stop 8) on Swan Street.

Patrons will still be able to access all venues with minor detours on foot. You can view more detailed information and maps about these roadworks here.
