Melbourne Victory and LifeChanger join forces

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Lifechanger Foundation.

LifeChanger is a preventative mental health and wellbeing non-profit that empowers young people to live thriving, resilient lives.

LifeChanger believes that many of the confronting challenges and alarming statistics that face today’s youth are preventable through pre-emptive, early intervention programs that build self-esteem, awareness, positive self-identity and resilience.

LifeChanger’s evidence-based program, expert facilitation and trained community mentors develop young people with the emotional and social skills to live thriving, resilient lives.

Melbourne Victory Managing Director, Caroline Carnegie, said she is thrilled to partner with LifeChanger.

“LifeChanger is a fantastic charity whose passion and commitment are second to none,” Carnegie said.

“They are delivering real and tangible benefits to our younger community which is a natural alignment for sport, football and Melbourne Victory.

“We look forward to launching our partnership through the enrolment of the Club, football staff and administration, in the LifeChanger KM’S4KIDS Virtual Challenge which starts on 1 September.

“The program will see Melbourne Victory staff measure their kilometres over a 21-day virtual health and wellbeing event to raise awareness and funds to support youth and LifeChanger programs.

“We encourage all our members and fans to get involved and be part of the challenge”.

LifeChanger Founder and CEO, Scott Watters said the LifeChanger Foundation is proud and excited to be partnering with Melbourne Victory.

“Melbourne Victory’s strong community values and foundations enables LifeChanger to expand its reach and help support thousands of youth, community mentors and families build more thriving, resilient young people,” Watters said.

“The critical role sport plays in connecting and supporting families and communities makes this partnership an important one. We look forward to working with Melbourne Victory.”
