The Melbourne Victory Regional Roadshow, presented by KFC, visited the city centres of Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Shepparton and Traralgon last weekend.
These visits provide a great opportunity for Melbourne Victory to not only thank its loyal members and supporters in regional Victoria, but also to continue the club-s support of our future stars of the game, particularly those playing Optus Small Sided Football.

The entire Melbourne Victory squad visited over 3,000 children across these regional areas, providing tips and encouragement to kids participating in Optus Small Sided Football, as well as signing autographs and posing for photos with the budding stars.

Gillian Edlin, the SSF Junior Coordinator at Spring Gully Soccer Club in Bendigo, was thrilled by Melbourne Victory-s to visit her area, “Robbie Kruse, Matthew Kemp, Nick Ward and Glen Moss were all lovely – please pass on our thanks for making the kids- day! Good luck for the season, we will be sure to be there as often as we can to show our support” she said.

Melbourne Victory and KFC would like to acknowledge the valuable assistance of Football Federation Victoria (FFV), Ballarat Regional Soccer Association, FFV – Central, Kardinia International College, Geelong Region Football Association, Shepparton Junior Soccer Association, Traralgon Olympians and Gippsland Soccer League.
