Throughout the day, 16 players from the squad dedicated time out of their busy pre-season training schedule to sit and take calls in the membership office. With our target of 18,000 full-season members fast approaching, the players were more than happy to play a part in being the extra incentive to encourage new sales.
There was genuine excitement in the membership office and with the steady volume of inbound calls received; the players were certainly kept busy. While the players chatted, membership sales escalated and within hours, 104 members signed up, pushing our tally closer to the 18,000 membership cap.
Melbourne Victory is currently at 16,235 memberships and with only 1,765 full season memberships remaining, now is the time to sign up to receive your membership pack prior to the first home game on October 8, 2011.
