Melbourne Victory CEO Geoff Miles has thanked the 16,700 committed fans that strengthened their support by becoming Victory members for the Hyundai A-League 2008/09 season.
“The loyalty of our members is truly invaluable and greatly appreciated,” Miles said.
“It is a real statement of commitment becoming a member, and the strength of our membership makes a great contribution to the resources and support we can give to Ernie, Kevin and the team.
“Our players are always keen to know what our membership tally is and they genuinely believe that the team is greatly enhanced by our members and their passionate support and strong attendance at games.
“We continue to strive to improve member benefits and the total membership experience every year.
“This year we have introduced new member events and reopened the Victory Room after every match at Telstra Dome, so our members can meet the players.
“On behalf of our Board, our players and staff, I-d like to thank our members for pledging their support to Victory in 2008/09 and look forward to their ongoing support.”
