Melbourne Victory captain Mark Milligan could make his return to the Hyundai A-League as soon as this Saturday.

Milligan, who went under the knife for minor knee surgery a little over three weeks ago, has trained strongly throughout the week.

Melbourne Victory coach Kevin Muscat will make the final decision on whether Milligan will travel after tomorrow morning’s final training session on Gosch’s Paddock.

Defender Adrian Leijer also returns to an extended Victory squad, following his suspension which saw him miss last week’s 1-1 draw with Perth Glory.
