Mitch Austin

Melbourne Victory signed Mitch Austin from Central Coast Mariners in June 2016.

Austin, who was born in England before moving to Australia, spent his junior years playing for Manly United in Sydney.

He returned to the UK in 2010 and had stints with Stalybridge Celtic and Cambridge United, before joining the Mariners in 2015.

Austin had a breakout season for the Mariners in 2015/16, playing 23 games and scoring five goals in the Hyundai A-League.

He made an outstanding start to his Victory career, earning Man of the Match honours in the club's pre-season friendly win over Juventus at the MCG.
