Melbourne Victory is eyeing back-to-back wins when it visits Altona Magic in the NPL2 West on Saturday.
Victory produced a fine performance in a 4-1 win over Brunswick City at Epping Stadium in Round 2.
Nicholas Sette, Nuh Sehavdic, Yazid Said and Josh Hope were on the scoresheet in the convincing win.
That result lifted Victory into fifth on the table through just two rounds this season.
Joshua Kelic had two assists in the win, while Hope scored and set up Said, who had a huge impact off the bench.
Victory visits Paisley Park on Saturday to face a Magic outfit that is top of the table.
Altona has claimed wins over Werribee City and Sunshine George Cross to start the season.

“The biggest focus for us is to develop what the team wants to achieve and what it wants to become and I think the young players, understanding the transition to the competition that we’re in and how to deal with that competition and the playing style of the other teams and develop our ability to cope with that and become better than that. We’re trying to develop our identity in understanding the competition and the strength and weaknesses of not only us but the opposition so we can deliver a really good performance for the weekend.”
