Melbourne Victory welcomes Ballarat City to Epping Stadium in Round 22 of the NPL2 West on Sunday.

Victory suffered a dramatic 2-1 loss to the Moreland Zebras in an unfortunate defeat last time out.

Jack Palazzolo, 18, opened the scoring with his sixth goal of the season, but the Zebras struck twice in the second half.

Victory has been beaten in two straight games since its win over Nunawading City at the start of the month.

Its meeting with Ballarat marks its second last home game of the campaign.

Victory is seventh on the table with seven matches remaining this season.

Ballarat sits ninth – six points behind Victory – ahead of the encounter.

The teams last met in Round 6, when Victory recorded a thrilling 5-4 win.
