Melbourne Victory is back at home to host Springvale White Eagles in the PlayStation 4 NPL2 West on Saturday.

Victory has been edged by Moreland City and Richmond in recent outings and welcomes the White Eagles to Epping Stadium.

Head coach Gareth Naven is glad to be back at home after a battling performance by his team in tough conditions at Moreland.

“I was happy with their performance. We’re still looking into the goals we conceded and trying to get better at those things,” he said.

“Overall, happy with the way they performed (against Moreland). We’re working hard to get better. This week will probably give us similar challenges.

“The nice thing is the surface we’re playing on is obviously not as disruptive as what Moreland is, but in saying that, it’s the same for them.

“We’re home this week and looking forward to a good game.”

Despite a huge effort, Victory was downed 3-2 by Moreland City in Round 20.

Forward Nuh Sehavdic and winger Nicholas Sette, who are both 17, netted their third and sixth goals of the season respectively.

Springvale is sixth in the NPL2 East and was beaten 1-0 when it last met Victory in 2015.

Victory members receive free entry to all PS4 NPL2 West home games this season. For non-members, tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for concession, with kids under 15 free.
