Melbourne Victory’s Round 22 PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria match against South Melbourne, which was scheduled to be hosted at Epping Stadium, will now be played behind closed doors this weekend.

The decision to hold the game without spectators was made following a serious incident with patrons when the two clubs last met in April at Lakeside Stadium.

The match will be played on Sunday, July 24, with strict security conditions in place.

Victory will provide liveĀ updates via its official Twitter page, and a match report will be available at melbournevictory.com.auĀ shortly after the completion of the match.
