NPL Wrap: Victory 0-0 Goulburn Valley Suns

Melbourne Victory extended its unbeaten streak to six as they split the points with the Goulburn Valley Suns at John McEwen Reserve.

Summary

Victory may feel unlucky only coming home with the one point.

It was a shaky start for both sides in the soggy surrounds at Shepparton as neither side was able to break through to open the scoring in the first half.

Victory made a change at the break, bringing on Andrew Visciglio for Jack Palazzolo in the hope of changing the scoreline but to no avail.

The away side had ample opportunities to score and registered numerous shots on target but just couldn’t convert, and the two teams remained locked at 0-0 as the final whistle rang.
