Melbourne Victory hosts Shanghai SIPG in its final AFC Champions League match on Wednesday.

Summary

Victory’s hopes of qualifying for the Round of 16 ended with defeat against Ulsan Hyundai on Match Day 5.

Goals from Kenny Athiu and Kosta Barbarouses were the only highlights on a tough night for Victory, which went down to the Korean side 6-2.

Shanghai, however, has already secured its spot in the next round with three wins and two draws from its five games so far.

Melbourne comes into the match on the back of a 1-0 away loss to Sydney FC, while Shanghai SIPG recorded a 2-0 home win against Hebei CFFC thanks to goals from Hulk and Wu Lei.
