Melbourne Victory can today confirm Tom Rogic will not travel to China for the club-s first AFC Champions League match against Guangzhou Evergrande.
Scans this morning revealed Rogic had suffered a lateral sprain when he rolled his ankle in 49th minute of last night-s 4-3 win over Adelaide United. Rogic was immediately substituted from the match following the incident.
Rogic will remain in Melbourne for treatment and it is hoped he will be available for selection for Saturday night-s Melbourne Derby at AAMI Park.
