Melbourne Victory introduces a new ‘seat return’ program available to reserved seat members for the first time. The seat return program was announced in our membership fulfilment letter to members this season and we-ve already had a positive response.
The program enables members with a reserved seat at AAMI Park in Premium A, B or C, to return their seat back to the club on a game-by-game basis, offering other Melbourne Victory supporters the chance to purchase that particular seat.
As a reward, the club will send a voucher via email containing a promotional code offering a 50% discount for the purchase of up to two daily tickets, at any home game at AAMI Park this season.
Vouchers will be sent via email prior to each home game for all seats released by members.
How to release your seats?
Members may release their seat via sms or online. Please see below for instructions.
1. SMS to 044 TXT MVFC (044 898 6832)
Simply text your Member ID (6-digits found on the back of your membership card) and the date of the match (dd/mm/yyyy) to 044 898 6832. Example: Member ID, 001999 releasing a seat for the Gold Coast United game would text 001999 27/11/2011.
2. Online – by clicking here
Simply visit the web link above, type in your Member ID (6-digits) and 12-digit barcode number found on the back of your membership card and select the AAMI Park match(es) you wish to release your seat for.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When will I receive my promotional code?
The promotional code will be emailed as a voucher on the Monday prior to each home game. This is a 12-digit code that needs to be quoted at the time of ticket purchase.
Where can I purchase tickets with my promotional code?
The following redemption information will also be advised in the email voucher you receive.
Online: Visit www.ticketek.com.au, select the desired match, enter your 12-digit promotional code to access up to 2 tickets at 50% discount (excludes fees and charges).
In person: Quote your 12-digit promotional code to any Ticketek outlet for a specific Melbourne Victory home game at AAMI Park.
Phone: Call Ticketek on 132 849 and quote your 12-digit promotional code for a specific Melbourne Victory home game at AAMI Park.
At match: On the day of the match, simply quote your 12-digit promotional code to the ticket sales box offices at AAMI Park.
Is the voucher transferable?
Yes, the voucher is transferable. Please do not hesitate to pass your ticket discount benefit onwards to family, friends or colleagues.
Does my seat need to sell before I can get my voucher?
No. The club would like to encourage members to release their seat regardless of the outcome. Releasing your seat if you are not attending, enables better seating to be available to fellow supporters.
Can my friends re-purchase the seat I release?
Unfortunately seat allocation upon ticket purchase is offered on best available.
