Melbourne Victory Football Operations Manager Gary Cole said: “We recently received an offer for Mitchell Langerak from Borussia Dortmund, which has been formally rejected.
“As we have always done, we are not prepared to discuss specifics or innuendo associated with any contracts or possible transfers.
“At this point Melbourne Victory will make no further comment on the matter.”
Melbourne Victory will host Chinese side Beijing Guoan in a crucial AFC Champions League game on Wednesday, with Langerak set to take his place in goal.
