Melbourne Victory added Stefan Nigro to its senior squad when the promising youngster signed a two-year deal in June 2016.
A product of Victory’s youth program, Nigro impressed in three senior appearances for the club in the 2015/16 season.
He arrived at Victory for the 2015 PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria season and was a key member of the team that earned promotion to Victoria’s top tier.
Nigro made a memorable Hyundai A-League debut against Brisbane Roar in January 2016, when he started at right-back and got the better of his duel with Thomas Broich.
He played the full 90 minutes in the Round 25 win over Western Sydney Wanderers later that season, and he was back in the senior line-up for the Round 27 draw against Brisbane.
