“I’m very excited to re-sign with the club, I’ve been here for two seasons and absolutely love playing here,” Roux said.

“It’s the biggest club in Australia with the best members and fans, so I’m extremely proud to continue my career at Victory.

“Last season was tough, but our members and fans stood by us through thick and thin. I’m obviously looking to repay that faith and help us get back to where we all want to be.

“I’m looking forward to getting back into pre-season training and putting in the hard work under Brebs, it’s a fresh start and we can’t wait for the opportunity to play in front of our members and fans again.”

Head Coach Grant Brebner said it was pleasing to have Storm commit to the club.

“It’s great to have Storm sign on for the upcoming season,” Brebner said.

“He’s been a very consistent performer for the club, he provides us with plenty of experience at the back and he can also create and score goals when we push forward.

“Storm understands the expectations and standards of playing at this club, he prepares well and gives one-hundred percent when he steps onto the park.

“We need leaders at this club, Storm has international experience, he’s a senior player and he will play an important role in helping us drive the change we need to see.”

Roux has made 48 A-League appearances for Victory since arriving at the club ahead of the 2018/19 season.
