Mark Milligan and James Troisi have been selected in the provisional Caltex Socceroos’ squad for upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Japan and Thailand.
The duo impressed at the Confederations Cup in June and have every chance to add to their 59 and 32 caps respectively.
In all, eight of the 30-man squad – Milligan, Troisi, Aziz Behich, James Jeggo, Robbie Kruse, Mitchell Langerak, Tom Rogic and Danny Vukovic – have spent time at Melbourne Victory during their careers.
The 30-man squad will be trimmed to 23 on August 23, before the final team flies out to Tokyo on August 27.
