Melbourne Victory will continue its pre-season matches in August, ahead of an exciting 10th anniversary season.
Melbourne Victory’s pre-season and FFA Cup campaigns will step up a gear in August, ahead of an exciting 10th anniversary season.
Kevin Muscat’s side has returned to full pre-season training, ahead of the club’s 10th Hyundai A-League season and inaugural FFA Cup campaign with details of the clash against Western Australia’s Bayswater City confirmed.
Muscat’s side will play a range of teams across the state, before embarking on a trip to Perth for a mouth-watering FFA Cup clash with Bayswater City in the Round of 32 of the competition.
“We are all really looking forward to our first competitive hit-out and of course, preparing for both the A-League and FFA Cup,” Muscat said.
“Our three new signings, Besart Berisha, Matthieu Delpierre and Carl Valeri, have already begun training with us and will play a part in these upcoming friendlies against some very competitive NPL sides.
“We certainly enjoy getting out to the local grounds as well. We’re looking forward to seeing all the fans joining us out there again.”

Highlights of the matches will be provided on MelbourneVictory.com.au on the day after the match.
