Vanstrattan to part ways with Victory

Vanstrattan to part ways with Victory

Melbourne Victory can announce that Goalkeeping Coach Jess Vanstrattan will part ways with the Club immediately, due to family reasons.

Vanstrattan and his wife have two young children and are expecting the addition of twins later this year.

He approached the Club this week with a request to be released from his contract to be closer to their family support network in New South Wales, which was agreed to.

Vanstrattan said although it was a tough decision to leave Melbourne Victory, it was time for his family to come first.

“I’ve had to make the very difficult decision to leave such a great club,” Vanstrattan said.

“It’s been a real honour and privilege to wear the Melbourne Victory badge.

“I’m extremely appreciative for the club’s understanding and support on our family decision.

“Melbourne Victory is full of wonderful people and I wish the club nothing but success in the future.”

Melbourne Victory thanks Jess for his services to the Club over the past season and wishes him and his family all the best in the future.
