On Wednesday afternoon, Melbourne Victory, in conjunction with LeasePlan, hosted the Carn the Kids clinic at Gosch’s Paddock and AAMI Park.
On Wednesday afternoon, Melbourne Victory in conjunction with LeasePlan hosted the Carn the Kids clinic at Gosch-s Paddock and AAMI Park.
20 children from the Carn the Kids program were treated to a one hour clinic, tour of the back of house facilities at AAMI Park and food and drinks.
Melbourne Victory players Sebastian Mattei, Geoff Kellaway, Luke O’Dea, Petar Franjic and Melbourne Victory Carn the Kids ambassador Rodrigo Vargas were on hand to assist with drills and offer their expertise.
The children relished at the opportunity to take photos, receive autographs and mingle with the players after the clinic.
LeasePlan is the world leading fleet and vehicle Management company and the founders of the Carn the Kids program. LeasePlan and Carn the Kids have been giving fun days out to children who may otherwise not have the opportunity since 2003.
This is the third season of the LeasePlan/Melbourne Victory partnership. The expansion of the partnership with Melbourne Victory for the 2010/11 season will see over 1,200 Carn the Kids children attend a Melbourne Victory match, including interstate games in Perth and Brisbane. 380 excited participants will be at the LeasePlan Mega Match Day on Sunday January 9th.
