With the Costa Rican-s current contract expiring on April 30, the club can confirm it has opened dialogue with the 2010 Johnny Warren medallist and his management.

Having scored 35 goals in 120 Hyundai A-League appearances for the club, Hernandez is certainly in the club’s future plans, with Managing Director, Richard Wilson, saying, “Now we-re at the end of our season, we-ve started negotiations with Carlos and his management over a new deal.”

“Players of Carlos’ quality are difficult to find, so we’ll be working hard to re-sign him,” Wilson added.
