More than 1,200 guests have attended Melbourne Victory’s traditional Victory in Business Season Launch today.
Held at Palladium at Crown, guests were treated to a very special lunch, including the presentation of the entire Hyundai A-League 2014/15 squad and Coach Kevin Muscat.
Football Federation Australia (FFA) & Westfield Chairman Frank Lowy was guest speaker on the day, providing some revealing insights into his career and life so far, while also breaking the news about changes to FFA’s board and his future role at FFA.
Melbourne Victory Chairman Anthony Di Pietro used the Season Launch to once again discuss the club’s ambitions for the season ahead.
“Season 10 is our season. We are loyal, loud and proud,” Mr Di Pietro said.
“We can’t rely on luck. We need to work together to achieve what we aspire to this season.”
Muscat and several senior players answered questions from Fox Sports’ Simon Hill and Mark ‘Bozza’ Bosnich on stage prior to Friday night’s season opener at Etihad Stadium against Western Sydney Wanderers.
Comedian Vince Sorrenti also provided entertainment on the day to the packed room.
