Melbourne Victory’s work in the community continued last week, with a group of players visiting Dandenong West Primary School.

Taking some time away from their AFC Champions League preparations, Nick Ansell, Oliver Bozanic, Thomas Deng, Daniel Georgievski, Rashid Mahazi, Connor Pain, Lawrence Thomas and Archie Thompson all spent time in the classroom and out in the playground.

This year, Victory has been delivering Football Fever – a weekly program for students that focuses on respect, teamwork and fair play at school.

For the first time, the club has combined education and physical education to deliver positive outcomes for young students, with Victory players assisting with classroom activities before passing on their practical football tips.

The program is being conducted in partnership with Football Federation Australia and School Sport Victoria.
