Victory jersey up for grabs by signing to VRP!

The launch of the new Volunteer Recognition Program (VRP) and online database in March this year has been a great success with nearly 900 volunteers from over 60 clubs already registered on the database.

Football Federation Victoria (FFV), in conjunction with Football Federation Australia (FFA), the Victorian State Government and Melbourne Victory Football Club, has been working together on the VRP, a program that supports and recognises the efforts of volunteers at Football Clubs across Victoria.

As part of the program FFV wants to say thank you to all the volunteers dedicating their time to make their Football Club run. Part of this acknowledgement has been through Certificates of Recognition to every volunteer currently signed up to the database as well as some volunteers receiving Melbourne Victory caps or a Socceroos Scarf.

Further down the line the VRP will be delivering volunteer days, resources and newsletters to further recognise and assist volunteers.

With the end of the season fast approaching we are aiming to reach the 1000 volunteer milestone on the database! If your club hasn-t got on board yet and registered your volunteers onto the database do it today!

As extra incentive we-ve got a great new promotion! Every club that registers their volunteers onto the database throughout August or September 2009 will go into the draw to win a signed Melbourne Victory top.

If you-ve already registered volunteers onto the database, have you signed all your volunteers up? Volunteers at your club may include coaches, SSG Game Leaders, Committee Members, canteen helpers, ground manager and first aiders.
