Victory names squad to face Glory

Melbourne Victory has added two players to an extended squad for Saturday night’s Hyundai A-League clash with Perth Glory at AAMI Park.

Tickets for the match are available here.

Alan Baro returns from illness while George Howard has been promoted to an 18-man squad, with two players to be omitted before kick-off.

Central defender Baro has fully recovered from the virus that forced him to miss last week’s 1-0 loss to Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium.

Young forward Howard returns to the squad after netting a brace in Victory’s 3-1 win over Murray United in the PlayStation 4 NPL2 West at the weekend.

While second-placed Victory is 10 points clear of Perth on the Hyundai A-League ladder, Glory travels to Melbourne full of confidence.

Perth, undefeated in its last five matches, is also on an eight-game unbeaten streak against Victory with four wins and four draws.

And while Victory has won eight of its last 10 home games, Perth has lost just one of its last seven fixtures on the road.

Tickets for the match are available here.
