Victory returns to Latrobe City Stadium for blockbuster Round 4 clash

Melbourne Victory is excited to play its first home game of the 2019/20 Westfield W-League season on Saturday, December 7 at Latrobe City Stadium.

The Round 4 match against Western Sydney Wanderers will kick-off at 4.00pm in what’s shaping up to be a huge event in Morwell.

The game will be the first opportunity for Victory fans to see a new look W-League squad in the flesh including Matilda Jenna McCormick, US signings Emily Menges, Hayley Hanson and Darian Jenkins together with New Zealand international Annalie Longo.

The Latrobe City Stadium holds form for the team, last season, in front of a strong local turn out, Victory enjoyed a 2-1 win defeating Western Sydney thanks to goals by current captain Natasha Dowie and import, Christine Nairn.

It is Melbourne’s first game back in Australia following its participation in the Women’s Club Championship in South Korea, where it is the first Australian club to play in the inaugural pilot edition of the tournament.
