Melbourne Victory are excited to support the Victorian Multicultural Commission-s Viva Victoria festival this weekend as tens of thousands of people will gather at Federation Square in Melbourne this Sunday.

This free public event is the ultimate celebration of Victoria’s awesome cultural diversity and Melbourne Victory will be there to bring a football flavour to the event.

Federation Square will be transformed into an amphitheater of colour and sound, as thousands of people flock to enjoy the entertainment at the festival, which will showcase more than 70 cultures through food, dance, music, sport and much more.

Melbourne Victory will be there with the Panna Football Cage, giving people of all ages and cultures a chance to test their skills in a 5×5 meter cage. In addition to this, the Inaugural Melbourne Panna Premier League Champion will be crowned at the festival, so this is your chance to see some of Australia-s finest street footballers in action.

Melbourne Victory will also be running some fantastic competitions with plenty of giveaways!

Melbourne Victory chief executive Ian Robson said: “Football is truly the world game and the interest in the club activation reinforced this. We are excited to be involved with the Victorian Cultural Commission and VIVA Festival to bring a football feel to the event and provide something different that hopefully adds a new and valuable dimension to the event”.

Make sure you are there to celebrate football and Victoria-s cultural diversity this Sunday, March 23 from 11am-6pm.
