Melbourne Victory coach Kevin Muscat says his side is fit and ready to take on Brisbane in enemy territory in this Sunday’s A-League Semi-Final.

Press play on the video below to hear what Muscat had to say as Victory trained on AAMI Park before heading north to Brisbane.

“We can look back at the last four or five games and really know where we are at,” Muscat said.

“We know. We are certain on where we sit on our conditioning for games… battle-hardened and game-prepared.

“We’ve improved and increased our performances as we’ve gone on.

“Looking back at our last performance there, you know there were three or four very, very soft offside decisions that were given against us that were all on side – that’s really got to be a part of the game that’s improved in big games. We play right on the edge, but I’m pretty sure that will be correc this weekend.”

Muscat said Finkler would be part of the side, despite pulling up sore from last week’s Good Friday win over Sydney FC.

“He put in a big shift (in the Elimination Final) and he’s been very important to us throughout the campaign,” Muscat said.

“He’s been reaping the rewards of not having to do all the travel and playing all the (AFC Champions League) games and he’s certainly a big player for us.”

Melbourne will have to do without defender Adrian Leijer and midfielder Tom Rogic, who Muscat said both hadn’t recovered in time for Sunday’s clash in Brisbane.
