“It’s been a good week, we’ve had a longer week than usual to prepare, everyone has had an opportunity to work themselves into the squad,” Muscat said.
“There is no guarantee (Adrian Leijer and Leigh Broxham will return to the starting XI)… but, rather than get focused on individuals, we know the squad will be used throughout the season.
“Whatever we achieve the full squad will play it’s part in that.”
Muscat encouraged all fans to attend Sunday’s clash, which he said was sure to be a tough battle.
Melbourne Victory’s Foxtel National Youth League side will also take on the Jets youth side as a curtain raiser to the Hyundai A-League match, the 1000th in the league’s history.
