As well as visits to schools, hospitals and local football clubs, the players also got a chance to play in front of more than 5,000 fans at Twin Ovals in Kingston, just south of Hobart, in a double-header that saw plenty of goals.
Melbourne Victory were dominant in their performance on the pitch against a select Tasmanian XI and reigning Hyundai A-League premiers, Western Sydney Wanderers, with the boys in blue scoring nine goals across both games.
