Speaking ahead of his side’s trip to Adelaide, the 25-year-old said he was pleased with his first Hyundai A-League appearance, named in the starting XI that drew 0-0 with Heart.
Troisi said there was no doubt he had the hunger and drive to be part of the Socceroos squad and believed his time at Victory would show that.
“You ask every footballer about playing with their national team and playing in the World Cup,” Troisi said.
“Everyone wants to do it and you have hunger and desire to do that.”
