An experienced leader with a wealth of experience, Carl Valeri has proved a valuable addition to Melbourne Victory.
Valeri, who joined Victory in June 2014 following an extensive stint in Italy, has made more than 70 appearances for Victory across all competitions.
He has represented Australia at every age level and made over 50 appearances for the Socceroos, including three at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Valeri was named as Victory's fourth ever captain in September 2015, following in the footsteps of Kevin Muscat, Adrian Leijer and Mark Milligan.
